ICYMI: Senator Rick Scott Signs the Moms for Liberty “Parent Pledge”
Tampa, FL – Yesterday, Senator Rick Scott signed the Moms for Liberty “Parent Pledge” while in Wisconsin. Senator Scott is committed to standing up for parents’ rights at all levels of government and a proud supporter of Moms for Liberty and the great work they are doing advocating for parents and children.
Statement from Senator Rick Scott: “I am proud to sign the Parent Pledge and appreciate all the work Moms for Liberty does for our kids. The radical Left has been waging a war against parents in their attempt to indoctrinate our kids with woke nonsense. Parents NOT government should be involved in making decisions regarding their child’s education. I will always stand up for parents and our children.”

Moms for Liberty: Florida US Sen. Rick Scott Signs “Parent Pledge” in Milwaukee Ahead of Debate
MILWAUKEE, WI – Moms for Liberty is pleased to announce today that Florida US Sen. Rick Scott signed the Parent Pledge, which means he recognizes the rights of parents to be involved in the education decisions of their children in public K-12 schools.
The Moms for Liberty Parent Pledge says, “I pledge to honor the fundamental rights of parents including, but not limited to the right to direct the education, medical care, and moral upbringing of their children. I pledge to advance policies that strengthen parental involvement and decision-making, increase transparency, defend against government overreach, and secure parental rights at all levels of government.”
Co-Founders Tiffany Justice and Tina Descovich said, “Senator Rick Scott is a great champion for parental rights in education and we are especially proud of his work to make our schools safer. We were both serving on school boards when then Governor Scott implemented plans for school hardening and safety following the Parkland school shooting massacre. Now, he is fighting for school safety improvements on the federal level as a US Senator. We are proud to have his unequivocal support of parental rights with his signing of this pledge in Milwaukee.”
