Debbie’s Donors: California Liberals and Corrupt Senators
Tampa, FL – Failed Florida Democrat and Senate candidate Debbie Mucarsel-Powell has received campaign cash from some interesting groups since announcing her Senate bid. She received a total of $7,000 from radical California liberal Nancy Pelosi’s campaign and political action committee. Makes sense since her voting record with Pelosi is 100%.
She also received $5,000 from a PAC that has supported corrupt New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez. It’s not surprising that DMP would be supported from groups like this given that she still won’t say if she’s going to return the money she received from Menendez during her last (failed) Congressional run. As a reminder, Menendez has been indicted for corruption and acting as a foreign agent. But DMP needs all the help she can get after a lackluster fundraising quarter compared to past Florida Democrat Senate candidates. Over the first 5 weeks of her race last cycle, Val Demings raised $4.6 million and lost by 16 points to Senator Marco Rubio. This is 3 times more than what Debbie did over the same time period.
