Whose Side is DMP On?

Whose Side is DMP On?

Tampa, FL – Yesterday, Senate Democrats voted UNANIMOUSLY to block a bill that would provide critical aid for Israel. This isn’t the first time Senate Democrats have blocked aid for Israel after the brutal terrorist attack by Iran-backed Hamas, and it probably won’t be the last. It’s preposterous that – on the same day Chuck Schumer told attendees at the March for Israel that he supports Israel – Senate Democrats blocked much needed aid for Israel. But it’s not surprising because Senate Democrats have been playing political games with Israel aid for weeks.

They want to tie Israel aid to other spending that has nothing to do with Israel, like funding for sanctuary cities. It’s sad that Democrats are trying to exploit this horrific tragedy for their own political gain. It’s also sad that the leader of their Party, Joe Biden, couldn’t be bothered to walk out of his back door and join the thousands of Americans from across the country who were marching in solidarity with Israel.

Statement from Team Rick Scott Spokesman Jonathan Turcotte: “Yesterday we saw just how hypocritical and shameful Democrats are. Joe Biden had time to give a speech pushing the Green New Deal before he left D.C. for his meeting with the Chinese Communist dictator. But he couldn’t find time to join the March for Israel that took place right in his backyard. Chuck Schumer told Americans that Senate Democrats support Israel in their fight against these barbaric Iran-backed terrorists. Then went to the Senate floor, along with the rest of his Democrat colleagues, and voted against providing Israel with resources to defend itself. Failed Florida Democrat-turned-Senate-candidate Debbie Mucarsel-Powell needs to tell Floridians what she thinks about this disgusting behavior from her Democrat Party leaders. Does she think it’s ok to play political games with aid that Israel desperately needs? Floridians deserve to know whose side she is on.”
