The Biden Administration: We Don’t Have a Whole Lot of Information About American Hostages

Tampa, FL – It’s been 52 days since Iran-backed terrorists slaughtered thousands of Israelis and took Americans hostage. While some American hostages have been freed, the Biden administration has offered zero transparency and said yesterday that it still doesn’t know exactly how many are still in captivity. Top Biden administration official John Kirby said that they “don’t have a whole lot of information about them.”

Statement from Senator Rick Scott: “While it is great news that some hostages have been released, it is still unclear what the status is of the many hostages still held by Iran-backed terrorists. Our President has displayed incredible weakness on this issue and his team said they don’t know what the schedule of release will be for the many Americans still being held.  Bringing American hostages home safely should be the president’s number one priority. Instead, he has taken numerous vacations, held events on the Green New Deal and is literally trying to negotiate with terrorists. The Biden administration needs to start being transparent with Americans about the hostage situation in Gaza and how the U.S. will bring every single American home.”
