TAMPA, Fla. – Today, Team Rick Scott is in search of any Floridians who have seen socialist former Congresswoman Debbie Mucarsel-Powell north of Miami.

According to her social media, she was last seen outside the Miami area on May 5 when she visited Orlando for the Florida Democrats’ Leadership Blue event.

While her campaign is broke and gas is more than double the price it was under President Trump, Congresswoman Mucarsel-Powell continues to ignore the millions of Florida voters who do not live in or around Miami. Despite not being able to make it out of Miami, Debbie has, however, had time to go to New York City to do television hits. Maybe she’s hiding from Floridians because she doesn’t want to answer for Democrats’ socialist, open border, high inflation, appeasement policies that are destroying the country.

Statement from Team Rick Scott spokesman Will Hampson: “Congresswoman Mucarsel-Powell is not running a serious campaign. Maybe it’s because she’s broke, or maybe because voters will not support a socialist, but her refusal to leave the Miami area and meet with voters is disqualifying. Senator Rick Scott is again on pace to visit all of Florida’s 67 counties by this summer. He will not be outworked, and Congresswoman Mucarsel-Powell will see that when voters overwhelmingly reject her again in November, if she even wins her primary.”
