MILWAUKEE Wis. – Tonight, Senator Rick Scott delivered remarks at the Republican National Convention. Senator Scott highlighted his commitment to working with President Trump to turn our country around and create a prosperous economy that works for ALL Americans.

I was born to a single mom and grew up in public housing.  I started working at the age of 7.  I joined the Navy at 18. 

But because I grew up in America, I was able to come from absolutely nothing to build one of the largest companies in the world, become Florida’s Governor and now US Senator  – where I fight every day to stop radical Democrats from destroying our country.

They will lose. We will win.

Now, let me tell you about a dream I had recently… 

I had a dream in which I did some time traveling.  In my dream, I traveled into the future to an imaginary world — where Joe Biden got re-elected.

Remember The Christmas Carol, the ghost of Christmas past? Well, in my dream, I met the ghost of Biden future. 

I saw a Biden second term. And it wasn’t a dream…it was a nightmare. 

• Mortgage rates skyrocketed to 15%, only rich people could buy groceries, and gas prices were $10 a gallon.
• In my nightmare, Biden and the Democrats erased our southern border and flew so many illegals here that Mexican cartels got frequent flier miles.
• In my nightmare, it was easy for Democrats to rig elections: They simply allowed non-citizens to vote.
• We were at war on 4 continents. We did nothing to protect Israel from terrorists or to stop China from invading Taiwan.           

Does any of this sound far-fetched to you?  If so, you haven’t been paying attention. Biden and the Democrats have been working to tear down this country and rebuild it in their woke, radical image.

Their dream isn’t new.  It’s an old idea that has failed every time it’s been tried. It’s called “Socialism.” And Donald J. Trump will not let it happen here.

Under President Trump — We had a booming economy, we weren’t at war, our enemies feared us, our allies respected us, we had a secure border, inflation and mortgage rates were low, and families had money in the bank.

Donald Trump has given up a lot for our country. His family has been slandered. He’s been impeached, censored, and treated as a criminal, all because he never backs down. 

This week, he’s shown the kind of courage all of us should display as we rally around him to rescue and unite our great country!
