Does Debbie Agree With Schumer and Pelosi That Biden Needs To Go?
TAMPA, Fla. – This week, Congressional Democrat leadership is upping calls for Joe Biden to step aside and end his campaign for re-election.
Chuck Schumer this weekend told Joe Biden he should do what’s best for the country and drop out of the race, according to reporting from ABC. Schumer reportedly shared with Biden that this was not only his opinion, but that of most senate Democrats as well.
Additionally, Nancy Pelosi is also working to get Biden to end his campaign, with a Pelosi ally telling Politico, “The speaker does not want to call on him to resign, but she will do everything in her power to make sure it happens.”
Does Debbie Mucarsel-Powell agree with Schumer and Pelosi that Biden should step aside from the ticket? Does she now regret her strong endorsement of Biden? Does she still accept Biden’s endorsement of her?
Statement from Team Rick Scott Spokesman Will Hampson: “Debbie Mucarsel-Powell gave a full-throated endorsement of Joe Biden for President, and in return he strongly endorsed her for senate. Now, they both find themselves in the same position: running in races they can’t win. Democrat leaders in Congress are actively working to get Joe Biden to drop out of his race. Does former Congresswoman Mucarsel-Powell stand with Schumer and Pelosi, or with Biden? Does she regret endorsing Biden, and does she still want Biden’s endorsement? With Democrats in complete disarray, the people of Florida deserve to know where she stands.”
