Senator Rick Scott Launches “Brazilians for Rick Scott” Coalition
ORLANDO, Fla. – Today, Senator Rick Scott held a roundtable with Brazilian business and community leaders at Tony’s Brazilian Grill in Orlando to announce the “Brazilians for Rick Scott” coalition. The coalition is made up of Brazilian leaders who back Senator Scott’s actions to support Brazilian families and businesses in Florida, his commitment to make Washington work for every Floridian and his fight to hold Joe Biden and Kamala Harris accountable for their failed socialist policies.
Senator Rick Scott said, “I’m honored to receive the endorsement of so many business and community leaders from the thriving Brazilian community in Orlando who are working to make our state the best in the nation. Throughout my time as Governor and now as U.S. Senator, I’ve worked tirelessly to promote freedom throughout Latin America and to strengthen the economic partnership between the United States and Brazil. I have witnessed firsthand the growth and progress of the Brazilian community in the Sunshine State, and I am committed to continuing our work together to prevent socialism from taking root in Florida and to uphold freedom in Latin America.
Our hemisphere is in danger, and freedom-loving nations must support our oppressed neighbors. Those who remain silent or stand idly by in the face of horrendous crimes are complicit and equally responsible. I will not stop working for every Floridian and will continue to work to protect security, prosperity, and stability in the United States and across our hemisphere.”
In addition to “Brazilians for Rick Scott,” other coalitions recently announced include “Puerto Ricans for Scott”, “Cubans for Scott,” “Ecuadorians for Scott,” “Venezuelans for Scott,” “Nicaraguans for Scott,” and “Colombians for Scott,” among others.
