TAMPA, Fla. – Yesterday, 158 Democrats in Congress voted against HR 7909, a bipartisan bill which would deport illegal aliens convicted of violent sexual crimes like rape.

Included in those 158 Democrats were Debbie Mucarsel-Powell’s closest friends, Ilhan Omar, AOC, and Rashida Tlaib. Mucarsel-Powell voted with AOC and Omar, both self-described socialists, over 93% of the time during her short stint in Congress.

Also included in the 158 Democrats were Debbie’s top Florida surrogates, including Maxwell Frost, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, and Kathy Castor, showing Florida Democrats are also united in supporting illegal alien rapists over American citizens.

This is the latest example of radical socialists like Debbie putting violent criminals who commit heinous crimes ahead of the safety and well-being of American citizens.

Statement from Team Rick Scott Spokesman Will Hampson: “Debbie Mucarsel-Powell’s record is clear so we can only assume that like her best friends AOC, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, she will put illegal aliens ahead of Floridians, even if they are convicted rapists and heinous criminals. Worse still, Debbie’s friends in the Squad and her top surrogates not only want to protect these criminals and allow them to stay in our country, but they want to let them vote and give them taxpayer-funded benefits. Debbie’s refusal to condemn this vote shows Floridians that she stands with these radical members of Congress. Floridians will once again reject Debbie because they know she’d rather protect criminals over you and your family.”
