ICYMI: Senator Rick Scott’s “Miami Takeover”
MIAMI, Fla. – In case you missed it, Senator Rick Scott spent this past weekend campaigning across Miami-Dade County. He attended 15 separate campaign events in every corner of the county. On Friday, he was joined by Jewish community leaders at FIU for a roundtable on combatting antisemitism. After the roundtable, Senator Scott visited a senior community center in Miami Springs to talk about the importance of fighting for Florida’s seniors.
On Saturday, Senator Scott held a Hispanic Heritage Month celebration with leaders from Hispanic coalitions who support his campaign. The celebration was followed by a caravanfrom Hialeah down to the Redlands. After the caravan, Senator Scott held an impromptu rally to thank supporters for their dedication to fighting back against Democrats’ socialist agenda. After the rally, he joined the Independent Venezuelan American Citizens in Miami to commemorate their 20th anniversary. Senator Scott ended Saturday by delivering the keynote speech at the Broward Republican Party Gala.
On Sunday, Senator Scott attended the morning service at Comunidad De Fe Ministries, where he spoke about how commitment to defending families values and keeping Florida the great, free state that it is.
Senator Scott wrapped up his “Miami takeover” weekend yesterday by receiving endorsements from several Mayors in South Florida, including Hialeah Mayor Esteban Bovo and Miami Mayor Francis Suarez.
With 43 days left until Election Day, Senator Scott is keeping up the momentum and will continue traveling across the state to speak to Floridians who are excited to Make Washington Work for families in our state!
