New Report Highlights the Dangers of Dems’ Open Borders Agenda

Tampa, FL – A new report from Senator Mike Braun illustrates how dangerous America’s fentanyl crisis has become. Overdose deaths among Americans 65 and older have quadrupled over the last two decades and the amount of fentanyl seized at the Southern border increased 480% from 2020 to 2023.

Senator Rick Scott has been fighting to combat the deadly fentanyl crisis while Democrats sit back and do nothing. He introduced the END FENTANYL Act that requires Customs and Border Protection to update their policies at least once every 3 years to respond to illegal activity like drug smuggling and human trafficking. This bill also requires CBP to submit a report to Congress summarizing what they are doing to keep deadly drugs out of our country.

Statement from Team Rick Scott Spokesman Jonathan Turcotte: “While Joe Biden and the Democrat Party are focused on spending tax dollars to protect foreign borders, Senator Rick Scott is fighting to secure our borders and stop the flow of deadly drugs into our country. Under Joe Biden, the amount of deadly drugs coming across the Southern border has skyrocketed and the fentanyl crisis continues to worsen. Senator Braun’s new report illustrates the tragic reality of Democrats’ open borders agenda. Next year, Floridians – and all Americans – are going to reject Democrats’ deadly open borders agenda by retiring Joe Biden, putting Donald Trump back in the White House and electing a Republican Senate majority.”
