Tampa, FL – This week, the Biden Administration announced the dumbfounding decision to cut Medicare Advantage benefits for a second year in a row.
This cut means nearly 3 million Florida seniors, many of whom rely on fixed incomes, will see their supplemental benefits slashed by nearly $400 per year. In Florida, where 58% of Medicare beneficiaries are enrolled in Medicare Advantage, this cut hits particularly hard.
In light of this decision, Joe Biden’s handpicked Florida senate candidate has been silent. As a rubber stamp for Joe Biden, Congresswoman Mucarsel-Powell should explain to Florida seniors why she and her party don’t think their benefits are worth protecting.
