Democrats’ Dangerous Crime Agenda

Democrats’ Dangerous Crime Agenda

Tampa, FL – Crime is out of control in Democrat-run cities and states thanks to their soft-on-crime policies. Just yesterday, a convenience store clerk in California was set on fire and a member of Congress was carjacked at gunpoint in DC. But Democrats continue to push policies like cashless bail and lenient sentences that led to this crime wave.

The failed Florida Democrats are silent on their Party’s anti-police, pro-criminal agenda. One of them has even been endorsed by a member of Congress with a long history of anti-police statements. Floridians know that the failed Florida Democrats aren’t up to the task of keeping Floridians safe.

That’s why Senator Rick Scott has been endorsed by the Florida Police Chiefs Association and a bipartisan group of 59 Florida Sheriffs. Unlike the failed Florida Democrats, Senator Scott has worked with law enforcement to keep Floridians safe. And he will continue to fight for Florida law enforcement in the Senate.

Statement from Team Rick Scott Spokesman Jonathan Turcotte: “Democrats’ soft-on-crime policies embolden criminals and endanger Americans. Floridians have seen what these policies did in states like California and New York where crime is spiraling out of control. Do the failed Florida Democrats running for Senate agree with these soft on crime policies? Do they support these policies pushed by their Democrat colleagues”?
